CHILDREN'S SHOW TO BE CANCELLED UNLESS SPONSOR STEPS FORWARD

A free show for children in the city centre, is due to be cancelled unless a sponsor can be found.

The show is due to take place on Sunday, 15th June (Father's Day) and features a huge array of free activities for babies, toddlers and pre-school children along with around 50 local businesses who are lined up to exhibit at the show which is being run voluntarily by Little Sheffield.

Katie Hayward, who runs Little Sheffield in her spare time, has said "we have an amazing show lined up and it's incredibly frustrating to know that something so important to the mum's and dad's of Sheffield may have to be cancelled just because we can't find a sponsor"

"The sponsorship is an amazing opportunity as we have an extensive pre-event marketing plan, plus we have lots of opportunities on the day itself for a sponsor to take advantage of".

"We are hoping the show will be the first of it's kind in the UK as it focuses on getting local information and support to parents, whilst providing fun and free activities for the children at the same time. As a mum with two young children myself, I know how important it is to find this local information and we have organised the show to make sure that parents can find out what support is available to them locally".

"We need to raise a total of £5,000, some of which will go on purchasing equipment that we can use in future shows".

Any local company who is interested in sponsoring the show, either the full amount, or a smaller contribution, is urged to contact Katie Hayward on hellolittlesheffield@gmail.com or 07772 075875 as soon as possible.
