“There are fashion shows in London and Manchester, and Birmingham’s clothes show has been going for decades” said Charlotte. “I definitely noticed there was something missing to fill the gap in Sheffield, which is why I wanted to start the Style Show. I want to re-educate people about the range of styles and budgets available in boutiques across the city and the wider region, and to show that they aren’t all the expensive places people think they are.”

Made In Sheffield: Sheffield Style Show
Sheffield has some great, little known, fashion brands as I discovered when I met Panache, the shows sponsor, earlier in the year. Charlotte Calvert, from Millhouses, noticed this and found a gap in the market for a high-profile fashion event in Yorkshire so together with her best friend Cheryl have created what is set become an annual fashion event for autumn.

Made in Sheffield: Proove Pizza
Starving after our visit to the Children's Hospital, and with it being gone 7pm so not wanting to cook anything I remembered a new Pizza place had opened in Broomhill and decided we should go and pay it a visit.

Made In Sheffield: El Toro
Hidden away in Broomhill, Sheffield, is a little gem of a Tapas restaurant called El Toro. I recently got talking to Eddie, the owner, about Tapas as we're not generally a family who are that adventurous. If it's not plain and simple then picky 1, 2 or 3 will refuse it. Eddie assured me we'd not be disappointed and invited us to go and see what they have to offer. He also took the time out to chat to me about the business and his menu inspirations, and provided a lovely giveaway.... read on to find out more.

Made in Sheffield: Panache (part 2)
Welcome to part 2 of my Made In Sheffield: Panache blog post, I hope you enjoyed part 1 looking at the history of Panache and it's ranges. This part brings you the creative processes involved in bringing you a new season and what's next for Panache (except I appear to have misplaced my notes so this may be revisited when I find them).

Made in Sheffield: Panache (part 1)
Panache Lingerie have some lovely modern offices in Sheffield (near Crystal Peaks) that they moved into in 2008, myself and some other bloggers were invited along a couple of weeks ago to hear about their range, see their work spaces and have a sneaky peak at what coming up.
We were introduced to Debbie, Alicia and Jenny who all have their own roles to play in bringing you the next seasons must haves in lingerie.
Warning..... this is a longgg post so I have split it into 2.....
