A night in with Lush

There's few shops I enjoy going in but as you've probably gathered from my blog Lush is one of them. I can't fault the staff at Meadowhall, whenever I go in with the boys they spot the frazzled look a mile off and take the boys to investigate a bath bomb or two while I have a good look.  So I was really excited to be invited to their special VIP night to celebrate the opening of their new store (still in Meadowhall but a but further along).

The Gruffalo Experience, Meadowhall

We really love the Gruffalo in this house, whether it be the book  or going through the woods (Sherwood Pines or Thorndon) on a Gruffalo Hunt.  So imagine how excited I was when I found out that Unit 10 Eventive and Magic Light Pictures were bringing him to Meadowhall in a world premier of the Gruffalo Experience.

"There's 2 Kippers mummy!"

I took the boys to Meadowhall today as I found out Kipper the dog would be at Waterstones.  This was greeted with lots of "yays" from the boys who dislike the Meadowhall crowds as much as me and can normally only be got through the doors with bribery of going to the Lego shop.

They ran to him and said "hi", some hi-fives and a picture opportunity and went away happy...........
