Lands' End Wish List ... part 1

After a lovely day at Lands' End HQ yesterday (post to follow) I've put together my family wish list from their current and newest collection, I know what I'll be asking Santa for this year.

Women's Regular Denim Shirtdress
Sizes: 8 - 18
Price: £70

This was the first item from their women's collection that caught my eye.  I love shirt dresses and really struggled to find any this year.
This full button front denim dress looks fantastic on its own on warmer days or over jeans/ leggings in the winter months.

Land's End have added 2 chic patch pockets and a fabric belt to finish off the design to a high standard.

Approx. length in Regular size 10: 100.5cm/39½"
100% cotton | Machine washable.

Women's Regular Flannel Chambray Trim Tunic
Sizes:  8-30
Price: from £50

When I think of tunic's I think of huge frumpy tents, these however are nothing like that.  Made from a super soft brushed cotton with long sleeves a slightly curved hem and side vent detail they look so much more fitting and modern.  It's all in the details again with three-quarter functional button placket and a single front pocket to finish off the style.

Approx. length in Regular size M: 77.5cm/30½”"
100% cotton | Machine washable.

Women's Regular Dark Indigo High Rise Straight Leg Jeans
Sizes: 8-30
Length: 30'-34'*
Price: from £50

I live in jogging bottoms, unless I'm at work then I live in black trousers, it's rare I wear jeans.  It's not because I don't like jeans I can just never get any that fit nicely.  I always seem to end up with a baggy big around the front where they don't fit my waist/ hips properly.

At Lands' Ends the fit is the key to their product.  Their jeans are made from flattering stretch denim with a comfortable contour waist that sits naturally.
They have a classic five-pocket jeans styling which have been constricted in a way to smooth your shape.

*Are you taller or shorter then the standard 30', 32' or 34' lengths?  Lands' End have that covered as well with their free hemming service you can now have your trousers custom finished with plain hems or turn-ups to the nearest 1/2" (1.5 cm) free of charge, just let them know what size you need at checkout.

98% cotton/2% elastane | Machine washable.

Women's Everyday Fleece 200 Jacket
Size: 8-30
Price: from £50

Another thing I spend a lot of time in is fleece jackets.  Granted Lands' End do the most amazingly soft cashmere but it's not my cup of tea, and I'm not a fan of jumpers (unless they have a Christmas picture on) but buy me a fleece and I'll love you.

This one is not only an amazing colour but is soft and warm, whether it's being worn in the office or on a warm autumn day.  This fleece has huge 'cuddle factor' as it's brushed inside and out, meanwhile its stand-up collar keeps chills off your neck.  The front pockets are great for keeping hands warm on a cold wintry day.

Lands' End have pulled it out the bag again as they have ensured this fleece has antistatic treatment making it resistant to static shock and lint, a slightly shaped waist for a more flattering fit and an anti-pill finish helps it retains its good looks, wash after wash

Approx. length in Regular size M: 69cm/26½ins
100% polyester | Machine washable.

Women's Regular Heeled Ankle Boots
Size: 4-9
Price: £120

I go through ankle boots far too quickly and to find a good quality pair is difficult.  They either split at the seams or the heal becomes worn through.  Lands' End boots are of super quality and look really long lasting.

These ones are made from a smooth polished leather upper with a distinctive buckle detail and full side zip making them easy to put on and remove.
Inside they have a cotton twill lining with a leather heel counter and leather covered, foam-cushioned footbed on top of a rubber sole
The boots are complimented by a leather-wrapped 7cm/2¾ inch block heel

A Family Affair

What I loved about Lands' End is how many of their designs followed through from kids to women's or men's ranges.  We were shown some lovely flannel shirts that followed this theory.

Men's Patterned Flannel Shirt
Size: 34-52
Price: from £35

Their softest-ever flannel shirt in a range of great patterns with a buttondown collar and pattern-matched chest pockets.

Long sleeves with adjustable cuff
Available in either regular or tall fit.

Women's Chambray-trimmed Flannel Shirt

Made with the same cosy flannel as the mans but this time featuring subtle chambray details to the inside front placket, neck band, inner sleeve placket and cuff.
The long sleeves have single-button cuffs.
The neat French-felled side seams and curved hem means the shirt will layer neatly over trousers

Available in regular or plus sizes
100% cotton | Machine washable.

Boys' Plaid Flannel Shirt
Size: 4-13
Price: from £10

Again this shirt is made from the same soft brushed cotton flannel designed to stay bright and cuddly wash after wash.
The boys design features a straight collar with two button-through chest pockets and long sleeves

Girls' Flannel Shirt

Girls needn't be left out, as they have shirts for them too.  They have the same straight collar's and full button front as the boys but with the added details of the curved hem like the women's one.
